The historic Essex Market is on the move… It’s been 5 years in the making, and we’re finally ready to cross Delancey Street on May 13th!
The Essex Market Grand Opening Party will take place on Saturday May 18th, from 11 to 4pm. We will have the chance to enjoy live music, cooking demos, activities for children, a raffle and of course, tons of delicious food! ;)
At the new market, you will find all the current vendors and 15 new additions. New vendors include a Chinatown Ice Cream Factory dubbed Lower East Side Ice Cream Factory, shawarma stand Samesa from Eli and Max Sussman, LES Moroccan restaurant Zerza, and Thai-style chicken spot Eat Ghai.
The food hall is part of the massive Essex Crossing development, which is one of the largest project in New York’s Lower East Side. It will include apartments, parks, office and space for retail.
In the meantime, remember to visit the original Essex Street Market at 120 Essex Street before it shuts its doors on May 6th.
