This 85-year-old house in Hyde Park had one unique, defining element: the steeply-pitched gable over the front door. The addition on the right side of the house 'fits in' and 'honors' the original house by mimicking that gable, with a new shed dormer connecting the two across the front of the house. We're also adding a roof over the front porch and a covered back porch.
