It's that time of year! Last year with the help of Whitten Brothers, Chesterfield Towne Center held the most successful denim drive to date. Let's make this year even better!For the 6th Annual Denim Drive, we challenge you to help us collect 20,000 pieces of denim (jeans, jackets, shorts, etc.) to benefit Goodwill Industries.Up to $10,000 will be awarded to the PTA's of the schools that collect the largest number of denim items!Prizes will be awarded as follows to the top three elementary, middle and high schools: First place, $1,000Second place, $750 Third Place, $500In addition, the school that collects the most denim will receive an additional $500 bonus. The 11 schools with the next highest totals will also receive $250 each. The collection period is August 23-September 23, 2014. The ceremony date is TBD, but will be just a few short days after the collection period. The "big checks" will be awarded at the ceremony and the individual PTA's will receive a check via mail shortly thereafter.Volunteer Representatives from Goodwill, ECPI and R&R Supply will be at Center Court of Chesterfield Towne Center Wednesdays-Sundays during the collection period from 2- 8pm. Whitten Brothers will be an alternate drop site this year and they will accept denim during their operating hours, M-F 9am-8pm and Saturday 9am-6pm. We appreciate Whitten Brothers support again this year and their commitment to the drive! Please remember, in order to be counted as part of the Denim Drive and get credit for your school's PTA you must drop off your donation to Chesterfield Towne Center or Whitten Brothers.DOUBLE POINTS DAYS: September 13, 14, 20 and 21Every piece of denim donated on these days will be counted twice! Your 5 pairs of jeans just turned into 10! By helping us fill the truck, your school's PTA could win big bucks!
