Custom-treats maker Whimsy Cookie Co. LLC has opened in the former Gift & Art Shop, newly painted pink, in the Poplar corridor. Founder Laurie Suriff and her partner Collins Tuohy opened the store in a 4,600-square-foot store at 4704 Poplar, next to the recently opened South Fish restaurant, following through on one of my earlier reports.
