Take the 2016 Summer Park Challenge! Did you know that July is National Parks and Recreation Month? To show our support, we are issuing a challenge to all Whatcom County residents: who can visit the most parks or trails in Whatcom County this summer? In 2015, the top team recorded visits to 22 parks using our official paper entry form. This year we are raising the bar and making it even easier to enter with our new mobile app! The Rules: Visits must take place between Sunday, June 19 and Monday, September 5, 2016. Download the Summer Park Challenge App for Android or Apple from the AppyPie Marketplace or download the Summer Parks Challenge 2016 Entry Form For App users: open the app and open the Enter Here tab. Fill out and submit the park/trail visit form to record your visits. For Form users: Fill out the information for each park visit. All parks count - city, county, state, national parks, and designated public open space throughout Whatcom County.
