Watts Constructors: Watts Constructors submits low bid for Honolulu rail stations

Watts Constructors submitted a proposal of $112.7 million to build three stations for the Honolulu rail transit project, the lowest bid submitted to the Honolulu Authority for Rapid Transportation for the last group of the $6.57 billion project's first nine stations. The Honolulu Star-Advertiser reports the low bid for the rail stations at Pearl Highlands, Pearlridge and Aloha Stadium was within the most recent cost projections, by HART, which will review the bid before awarding a contract.
