VUMC: Blackburn accuses Vanderbilt University Medical Center of 'concealing' DEI programs

In a letter to CEO Jeff Balser, U.S. Sen. Marsha Blackburn accused Vanderbilt University Medical Center of hiding its diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives. "As a beneficiary of federal funding, VUMC has a responsibility to align with the President's executive orders and return to a focus on lifesaving research as opposed to woke DEI initiatives."
