TRaC Blog Another UK first for Element Materials Technology with MIL-STD 461G

Element Materials Technology is pleased to announce that it has become the first UKAS (ISO17025) accredited lab to officially be able to test against MIL-STD 461G in the UK.MIL-STD 461 is the U.S. Department of Defense's (DoD) primary standard for the control of electromagnetic interference (EMI) characteristics of subsystems and equipment. The latest revision of the standard, MIL-STD 461G, was only recently published, having been prepared by a committee of Army, Air Force, Navy, and other DoD agencies and industry representatives.Steve Hayes, General Manager, Element Materials Technology Warwick, explains: "Element is the natural choice of testing partner for companies who need to ensure their products qualify against differing defence test standards and other legal obligations including CE Marking and E Marking for the EU.
