Titan Spine: Medtronic buying Milwaukee-area spine-implant maker

Medtronic said Thursday it will acquire Titan Spine, a medical-device manufacturer that makes titanium implants for spine-fusion surgeries. The medical-technology giant didn't say what it would pay for Mequon, Wis.-based Titan, whose portfolio will be folded into Medtronic's existing business for spinal products and therapies.
