The author, H Jackson Brown, Jr, assembled hundreds of little tidbits of wisdom, typed them up, and delivered the binder to his son Adam when he left for college. This compilation of useful tips was meant to provide guidance and inspiration.Life’s Little Instruction Book was something I read, and reread over and over again. I took it to college, I packed it when I moved to California. I dog eared pages, starred my favorite suggestions, and implemented as many recommendations as I could. The book kept me grounded, certainly made me a a more astute student, and prompted me to be a better person.Even today, almost 25 years later, as I flip through the pages the content is relevant and motivating.H. Jackson Brown, Jr. went on to publish several more volumes of life instructions. Talk about a wise uncle or insightful neighbor. This guy was brilliant! And no question an exception.
