TicketWeb: TicketWeb partners with new venue in Newcastle

TicketWeb has announced an exclusive partnership with the soon-to-open Wylam Brewery at Palace of Arts in Exhibition Park, Newcastle. The venue will open in late May and the first ticketed show announced is by Michael Kiwanuka, who will be performing as part of his October UK tour."This partnership with Wylam Brewery is yet another example of TicketWeb working in conjunction with fantastic independent venues to promote great local talent," said TicketWeb MD Sam Isles. "We are delighted to join forces with Wylam Brewery at this evolving stage in their journey, and look forward to the international and homegrown acts that will play at this stunning location."Ticketmaster-owned TicketWeb will provide onsite ticketing services and solutions for the venue's formative years."The TicketWeb platform is second to none, and coupled with the excellent personal service TicketWeb provides to gig goers and venue owners alike we are extremely pleased to partner with them for our ticketing solutions," added Wylam Brewery's Dave Stone. "The Palace of Arts is a Grade II listed building of huge historical importance to the region, and the 800-capacity Grand Hall is a truly magnificent room. We look forward to welcoming talent from around the globe to this unique setting as well as supporting the North East's thriving local music scene. "As well as promoting our own shows and events we will act as a receiving house for national and local promoters offering a full plug in and play in-house service."Earlier this week, TicketWeb announced a similar partnership with 1,400-capacity London venue St John-at-Hackney.
