Well the band made it safely back home after a highly successful first tour of Ireland and the UK! After a whopping 21 shows in 23 days of travel everyone is enjoying being home and resting up for the next adventure. Our final shows took us to a wonderful house concert series in Cookstown, Northern Ireland, called the Red room. We were hosted by the lovely Sharon and Arnie who fed us, put us up for the night, and let us sample their home-made potcheen (yum!) We had a great sold out show in Clonmel, Co Tipperary, where we stayed at the Raheen House and took great hikes up in the Irish countryside. Martha and Jerry took great care of us there and made us feel at home!Great shows at the Balor Arts in Ballybofey, The Seamus Ennis Centre in Naul, and a final intimate farewell show at the Green Room in Belfast. Whew! What a great time. This week the band will be in Louisville for their Summer Concerts in the Park on Thursday. This weekend we join a great collection of bands at Colorado's own Rapidgrass festival including Sam Bush Band, Travelin' McCourys and Jeff Austin Band. Let the good times roll!
