Summer definitely marks the start of ‘show time’ in the Lake District. Our traditional county shows celebrate the best of the area’s food, drink and countryside heritage. From sheepdog displays and hound trails, to the ancient Cumberland & Westmorland Wrestling and Fell Running, some of Cumbria’s county shows have been running for almost 200 years and are still providing great entertainment to today’s visitors.
