The Event Space Blog Sharing the book love with Sydney!

If you haven't heard from us in a few weeks, it's because we've had our heads in the books...literally! Teaming up with City of Sydney Council, we channeled our inner book worm to deliver a pop-up library as part of Sydney Festival.Using donated books from local libraries, Sydney-siders were invited to browse our book shelves, pull up a cushion, or sink into a giant armchair and relax in the middle of Hyde Park. The best part, if you like the book, it's yours to keep! The library ran late night adults only sessions, gardening workshops and kids activities and story time. The event was a huge success with fantastic feedback. If you didn't make it along, then be sure to keep an eye out for our bookshelves in the near future; they'll be making a return at more City of Sydney events soon. Watch this space...
