The 'it' Guide Blog Staycation in Style

There's nothing quite as motivating as the thought of an impending holiday to break me out of my unintended blog hibernation and force me to pick up my camera again.We've got no overseas trips planned this year; instead we'll be heading to Southampton with my family for a week in June where we've rented a beautiful holiday home with an indoor swimming pool to keep us all entertained if the weather decides to be typically British.For today's post I've teamed up with British home shopping brand Kaleidoscope to showcase some of the items available from their holiday shop for this year's summer getaways.I chose to team their nautical print maxi dress with one of my own denim jackets, not the most radical of style statements, but you can't beat a classic.I styled it with their fabulous jewel trimmed sandals, which I've since spotted being featured as part of their recent TV advert and would look equally good with jeans for a more casual look.I'm hoping that Mother Nature decides to be kind and bless us with the kind of weather that leads me reaching for these diamanté arm sunglasses!
