I am really ready to get into the swing of summer, and there is nothing more summer than a day at the beach. With that in mind, I am going to start hitting up some beach destinations - give me a jingle if that sounds like something you would like to be a part of! Most people think that the sunnier the day, the better - but au contraire! When it comes to portraits, especially on a beach, a slightly overcast day is ideal. Bright sun creates harsh shadows on faces and makes everyone squint, generally not the look we are going for. :)
