Techshu: Indus Net takes majority stake in Techshu

After acquiring ERP (enterprise resource planning) solutions provider InFluxERP, Kolkata-headquartered Indus Net Technologies has taken majority stake in Techshu. The company did not disclose the size of investment.The company will now be renamed Indus Net Techshu.Apart from India, Techshu, a digital marketing company, has operations across the US, the UK and Australia.Indus Net had acquired InFluxERP in March in a stock plus cash deal. The deal size was not disclosed.With the acquisition, Indus Net Techshu has become the largest digital marketing agency in India, particularly in the eastern parts of the country, said Abhishek Rungta, founder and CEO of Indus Net.The takeover would help create synergy, he said and added the management team had committed an operational investment of $1 million over the next one year.Rungta, also the co-founder of angel investment firm Seeders Venture Capital, said Indus Net Techshu would continue to operate independently. Aji Issac Mathew, co-founder of Techshu, as CEO, would head it. Prabhanjan Panigrahi, other co-founder of Techshu will be its CTO.Rungta and Bharat Berlia, CIO, Indus Net, will also join the board of Indus Net Techshu.Indus Net caters to a wide range of enterprise clients, digital agencies and emerging companies across various industry verticals like BFSI, MPE, travel and hospitality, education, e-governance in over 40 countries.Indus Net, which offers services like digital marketing, cloud and web development, enterprise mobility, also has Indus Net Labs, product division of the company, where it ideates, designs, implements and launches products to validate ideas and responds to the users' needs.The company also runs Indus Net Academy, which is a training and development wing that provides skill training and acts as a talent sourcing incubator for both Indus Net and IT industry at large.ritwikmukherjee@mydigitalfc.com
