Issue: Working relationshipsschoolsIan Durrant from Canterbury Christ Church University is looking for schools to participate in a new research study.Schools are in a period of rapid change, no time more so than now. The last 12 months have seen a new government and education secretary, new policies, increased academisation and a fundamental change in staff contracts with the introduction of performance related pay. Ian Durrant, a Senior Lecturer from Canterbury Christ Church University is conducting a series of studies looking at how schools are coping with such changes and their impact on interpersonal relationships amongst staff. He is inviting schools to participant in his next study to be undertaken during the next academic year. The findings from this research will be published and shared with the schools concerned, which in turn will hopefully enable them to improve their internal communication and cohesion in these challenging times. Where the findings are published, the anonymity of the school and respondents will be maintained at all times. If you are interested or would like to know more, please contact Ian DurrantIan DurrantSenior LecturerCanterbury Christ Church UniversityTel: 01227 863643Mobile: 07595 089946Fax: 01227 863030 Email: ian.durrant@canterbury.ac.ukOr click on the link belowClick to participate in 360 surveyIan Durrant is a Senior Lecturer at Canterbury Christ Church University, working with the Faculty of Education and School of Childhood and Education Sciences.
