Taps From Scratch Opening A Retail Location In Audubon ParkLocation Will Also Be Future Home Of Winter Park Beer CompanyFOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE - August 13, 2012Taps From Scratch, a Winter Park, FL based company, will be opening a new retail location in Audubon Park. The retail space will feature Taps From Scratch Pub Hubs and allow visitors to get a preview of Winter Park Beer Company's (WPBC) future location and a taste of the "pico" breweries upcoming beer releases. David Brunson, owner of Taps From Scratch and founder and Head Brew Master of Winter Park Beer Company, said "we wanted to start out slow and build our relationship with the community before we opened the Winter Park Beer Company at this location. We wanted to introduce ourselves and open our doors so people could learn a little more about what we do with Taps From Scratch and also get a chance to taste our unfiltered homebrew." According to David the plan is to rent and sell Pub-Hubs from the retail location while building awareness for Winter Park Beer Company. Customers will be able to visit the new location, get a closer look at the pub hub units to rent, and get a behind the scenes look at Winter Park Beer Company's brewing process. Visitors will also have an option to request specific WPBC beers for their events before anyone else.The new retail location is located at 1809 East Winter Park Road in Orlando across the street from Stardust Video and Coffee, whose parking lot is the home to the Audubon Park Community Market every Monday night. David thinks Taps From Scratch and WPBC will fit well in this growing diverse community, "From the beginning we have envisioned this being a community brewery and we want to be as involved as possible with supporting our community and being known for not just great beer but for helping to improve this neighborhood. There are a lot of well-known and stable small businesses in Audubon and we hope to form relationships, and partnerships, with as many of them as possible. The tradition of entrepreneurship and small business is alive and well here and we are excited to be a part of that."David plans to announce Taps From Scratch's grand opening soon and is currently adding finishing touches to the location. Winter Park Beer Company's opening is TBD with a goal to open before the end of the year.
