The last time the UK's economy went into recession was in 2020, at the height of the Covid-19 pandemic. At that time, many in the UK workforce saw their working environment change significantly. Three years on, workers find themselves facing further challenges with a looming recession to hit this year. With plenty of speculation as to how this will impact the UK market, Talent.com set out t o find out how people are actually responding to current economic conditions. We've partnered with YouGov to conduct a cross-sectional survey of employees to better understand workers' opinions on the matter . We polled workers of various ages hailing from companies of different sizes, industries and annual turnover, as well as geographical location throughout the country.
