Dear Friends and Colleagues,Sweet Sounds closed it's doors in April after eight amazing years. It was a very difficult decision to shut down the studio; however, i'm excited to share what we have been up to!As you may know, my life outside of Sweet Sounds is in digital media; I am the Co-Founder/Creative Director at Direct Agents, a business I started in 2003 with my brother Josh. The company now employees close to 60 people here in NY and recently launched an office in Los Angeles. Some of our clients include Sony, ShutterStock, and Mustela.We're proud to introduce you to Digital Content Lab (DCL), a new addition to our media company. With an in-house studio we offer a variety of services such as: filming original content, video editing, motion graphics and web design, voiceover and podcast recording, post production and photography. DCL works with brands creating creative storytelling, innovative video (short form, VR and 360), and inspiring content. The goal of DCL is to combine the worlds of digital media, music, video and all things creative. While although we are no longer a commercial studio, I invite you to share your creative content with us, so that we can share it with our social media audience. We may also call on the extended SweetSounds community for original music for client projects that we are producing. We will continue to grow DCL as a hub for creativity, inspiration and artistic expression- all the things that SweetSounds strived to do.
