Sumtotal: Cornerstone OnDemand Completes Sumtotal Buy

Santa Monica-based Cornerstone OnDemand, the maker of human resources software whcih is now owned by private equity firm Clearlake Capital Group, says it has completed its acquisition of SumTotal, a provider of learning and human capital management software. The deal is worth approximately $200M. SumTotal was previously part of Skillsoft. The companies said that Jim Gill, EVP Americas at Cornerstone will serve as the General Manager of Cornerstone's SumTotal business unit.
