We've gotten a lot of questions about our hair care line Davines recently, which inspired me to write this post. Davines is a family-run, sustainable product company out of Italy who believes in excellence."BY CREATING BEAUTY SUSTAINABLY, WE ENCOURAGE PEOPLE TO TAKE CARE OF THEMSELVES, OF THE ENVIRONMENT IN WHICH THEY LIVE & WORK, OF THE THINGS THEY LOVE."These are the words Davines lives by, which I believe says a lot about the company. The first is the Essential Haircare line. Each family in the Essential Haircare line contains specific characteristics and functions, whether it be hydration, nourishment, volume, shine, smoothness, and daily care. All of their products are enriched with active ingredients sourced from local farms all across Italy, and they're paraben and sulfate free. Each product from this line actually tells you whose farm it is from, and where it is in Italy! All containers are dishwasher safe, so you can reuse them! (Kind of cool, in my opinion.)Next, we have these prettily packaged presents of goodness which is More Inside. Each product is hand-wrapped and on the inside of these papers is an awesome caricature of how to use the product as well as a QR Code to scan with your phone if you would like to see a video on how to use the product. (Side Note: Someone gets to travel around the world and find these beautiful patterns you see on the packages!) Again, pretty dang cool. Keeping up with the sustainable trend, you'll be happy to find that the paper is recycled wood shavings made into the beautifully designed paper you see now. Inside of the bottle is various active ingredients that are extensively tested to ensure they are top-notch quality and keeping up with the sustainable trend. :D The products are also characterized by 4 different factors: Moisturizing Factor, Bounce Factor, Anti-Flaking Factor and Texture Factor.
