StackEngine: Oracle buys Texas software startup

StackEngine Inc., a maker of app management software, confirmed being acquired by Oracle Corp., just as the technology giant revealed plans to construct a massive campus in Austin, Texas. Austin-based StackEngine, which employed five workers last year, develops software designed to enable users to manage the virtualized applications in the containerization tool made by San Francisco-based Docker Inc.
