February 25, 2017 From high above Park City, UT (home of the Sundance Film Festival) in the luxurious Montage Ski Resort, a man turned 60. His wife wanted to give him a big surprise and she did. Friends and family from all over flew in for a big party in the Montage Ballroom. The biggest surprise was the band that would come on stage at the end of a wonderful video presentation that documented many of his life's highlights. Turns out his all-time favorite band was a blues band from Maryland that he had enjoyed many times in the past. When the Nighthawks were introduced and walked in to the room the look on his face said it all. It could have been any major band of the world, but the reaction couldn't have been greater. Personalizing an event only takes a degree of creativity and thought. This one nailed it. SRO provided the arrangements for sound, lights, backline and stage management to work with the event planner for final execution of a very successful surprise in the mountains.
