Somtel: DARE1 submarine cable marine survey completed, new landing station added

Djibouti Telecom and Somtel, along with their submarine system contractor, SubCom, say that the marine survey for the Djibouti Africa Regional Express 1 (DARE1) submarine cable system was completed on January 21, 2019. The undersea cable route has been finalized as well. As part of this latter process, a new landing station in Bosaso, Somalia, has been added.
