SOASTA: Akamai Technologies to acquire software testing company Soasta

Global leader in content delivery network services Akamai Technologies on Thursday entered into an agreement to acquire software testing company Soasta. The all-cash transaction is expected to close in the second quarter of 2017. Akamai said the acquisition of Mountain View, California-based company, is intended to give its customers greater visibility into the business impact of their website and application optimization strategies.
