Curated by Rachelle Diaz herself, The Beginning is an Omen for the Whole features work by Aldo Fabian Ramos, Gerardo Arrellano and Diaz. The exhibit explores attitudes toward religious symbols, from extremes in either assigning metaphysical powers to them or casting them off as meaningless objects. The different works may seem out of line with one another, from mystic deers to holy crosses and saints. Yet, when confronted by this collaborative exhibit, themes and ideas about religion take shape in new ways. Snapshot took a visionary voyage into Rachelle's mind as she allowed us to interview her.
