Dear allIn a recent research project,Henseler, J., Dijkstra, T. K., Sarstedt, M., Ringle, C. M., Diamantopoulos, A., Straub, D. W., Ketchen, D. J., Hair, J. F., Hult, G. T. M. and Calantone, R. J. (2014), "Common Beliefs and Reality about Partial Least Squares: Comments on Rönkkö & Evermann (2013)", Organizational Research Methods, Vol. 17 No. 2, pp. 182-209.http://orm.sagepub.com/content/17/2/182.full.pdf+htmlWe confirmed problems with the classical Fornell-Larcker criterion for assessing discriminant validity in PLS-SEM. We continued researching this issue and further substantiated problems with the classical discriminant validity assessment criteria in PLS-SEM. As a solution, we propose the new HTMT criterion (which has already been integrated in the new SmartPLS 3 version, http://www.smartpls.com). You can find the results of this research in the following article:Henseler, J., Ringle, C. M. and Sarstedt, M. (2014), "A New Criterion for Assessing Discriminant Validity in Variance-based Structural Equation Modeling", Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, online available.Take a look, it's OPEN ACCESS: http://link.springer.com/article/10.1007/s11747-014-0403-8Best regards,Christian, Jörg and Marko
