Smartclass Educational Services: How Ebix set up its India empire in less than a year

US-based Ebix Inc.'s is on an acquisition spree in India. The NASDAQ-listed software company has just struck its ninth deal in the country in just 11 months by acquiring a 60% stake in e-learning company Smartclass for $8 million.
