But I've gotten to know him better recently as he's being inducted on November 2nd to the Utah Technology Council (UTC) Hall of Fame, acknowledging individuals with a tie to Utah who've made extraordinary contributions to tech. (I am a trustee and serve on UTC's Executive Committee. In the past West has served two terms as UTC's chairman.)
