We wanted to highlight the strength and the vulnerabilities of the typical African woman through the eyes of officers' wives"The Movie production was set in Ibadan, Oyo State, utilizing the Mokola Barracks as a base for the shoot, the cast had to be trained by the Nigerian Military, and Rita Dominic celebrated her birthday on set.This is the first Nollywood film to be chosen by Toronto and London film festivals back-to-back and is a new milestone in both African cinema and history.76 makes history for African cinemas alongside Ay's 30 days in Atlanta, which was chosen for the highest grossing movie of all time for the Nollywood movie industry.The film will have its red carpet London premiere on October 15 and would be attended by all the key cast, crew and special guests.
