Sharptank Blog Getting to Know Your SharpTank - What to do if My Sharpener Stops Working

It can happen to best of us! That terrible day when you discover that your SharpTank is no longer working :(You probably have a small piece of lead caught in the blade. This can easily happen when using colored pencils which soft lead. If this happens to you, then there is easy fix for this. Simply remove the cutting blade from your sharpener by twisting the black base of the handle counterclockwise. With the blade removed, you can simply tap it on a table or use a toothpick, paperclip, or another pencil to dislodge the lead. Then replace the blade, tighten the handle, and you will be good to go.
