SEMA: E-470 interchange in Thornton opens

Traffic has begun moving through a new interchange on E-470 in Thornton. Construction began on the $5 million Quebec Street interchange over the spring, with a target of spring 2015 for completion. But the interchange opened at noon Monday, with good weather and ample availability of contractor SEMA Construction's equipment and crews responsible for the early opening, officials said.
