How do I reset my Acura maintenance light?From time to time we have Scanlon Acura clients that stop by or call to ask us how to reset the maintenance light on their Acura.Here at Scanlon Acura we believe that the best and easiest way to reset the light is to have one of our factory-trained service technicians reset it while they perform a complete oil change service including a comprehensive multi-point inspection and complimentary car wash.However, we understand this perfect scenario can't always be the case so we thought we would still try to be of service and help you reset that light!Depending on the model, there are several ways to reset the light:MDX (2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006)3.2L TL & CL (2000, 2001, 2002, 2003)RSX (2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006):With the ignition in the OFF position, press and hold the SELECT and RESET buttons to the right of the steering wheel. While continuing to hold the buttons down turn the ignition to the ON position. The maintenance light on the instrument cluster will blink then come on solid. After about 15 seconds it will turn off. The light is now reset.(2004 MDX maintenance buttons shown)MDX (2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013)RDX (2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012)TL (2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008)TSX (2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008):Use the info toggle button on the steering wheel to navigate to the oil life screen on the multi-info display unit (shown below at 100%). Next press and hold the SEL/RESET button until the OIL LIGHT RESET option displays. Toggle up to reset and press the SEL/RESET button again. The light is now reset.(2007 MDX maintenance buttons shown)MDX (2014, 2015, 2016)RDX (2013, 2014, 2015, 2016)TLX (2015)ILX (2013, 2014, 2015)RLX (2014, 2015, 2016):Using the info toggle button on the steering wheels navigate to the CUSTOMIZE SETTINGS screen and press SEL/RESET. Scroll to the MAINTENANCE INFO. screen and press SEL/RESET. Toggle up to reset and press the SEL/RESET button again.
