We are looking for an experienced Umbraco Engineer to join our growing team of digital experts. As an Umbraco Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, testing, and deploying high-quality Umbraco solutions that meet the needs and expectations of our clients. Above all else, you will collaborate with other engineers, architects, project managers, and business analysts as well as user experience designers and digital strategists to deliver innovative and scalable solutions that solve complex business problems.As an Umbraco Engineer, you will be responsible for:- Developing, testing, and deploying Umbraco websites and applications using best practices and industry standards- Working closely with other developers, designers, project managers, and clients to understand the requirements and deliver solutions that meet or exceed their expectations- Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues and providing support for existing projects- Working both as part of a team and independently, depending on the project needs and scope- Providing feedback and suggestions to the clients and challenging them when necessary to ensure the best outcome for the projectTo be successful in this role, you should have:- At least 3 years of experience in Umbraco development, preferably with Umbraco Cloud experience and/or Umbraco Professional, Expert or Master certification- Proficiency in C#, ASP.NET MVC, Web API, SQL Server, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related technologies- Knowledge of best practices for Umbraco development- Understanding of object-oriented development, design patterns and SOLID principles- Experience with agile methodologies and tools such as Scrum, Kanban, Jira, and Git- A proactive and collaborative attitude, with a willingness to learn new technologies and share knowledge- Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD, and automated testing tools- Experience with SCRUM/Agile, Lean development methodologies- Prior consulting and/or digital agency experience preferred- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn new technologies and skillsIf you are interested in this position, please apply with your resume and portfolio.
