Fairhaven is a community located in Saskatoon and it is one of the best areas to buy a home if you are looking for a residential area thats close to it all. Most of the homes here were built in the 1980s though some also were built in 1995, after a secondary building development was put into place here. In terms of the homes you will find here, more than half of those in this community are single family homes with detached garages. Most of the rest of the homes are apartments and townhomes. These sit along the western edge of the Fairhaven area. This community has plenty to offer residents. It is home to two elementary schools as well as several private schools. It is also close to the schools and facilities offered by nearby Blairmore. And, Shaw Centre is located here. This is a large recreational facility that is home to a large pool, water slides, and various recreational programs. Theres a large park in Fairhaven that spans about 20 acres. It offers numerous walking trails and a playground for the kids. The community is also home to several commercial areas and only a short drive from Confederation Park Mall, which meets most of the residents needs.
