A more comfortable handle grip has been included to offer users greater control of the tambourine so that minimal effort is required, while an adjusted centre of gravity makes it lighter and more responsive. Another feature is the nickel steel jingles, which aim to improve sustain and remove unwanted overtones, whilst the new layout makes them react faster, delivering more sound with less effort.Meanwhile, the PRO also incorporates an over moulded strip on each face to protect the players hands; inbuilt holes in the corners to attach it to the ProMount (RRP £18.19), making it ideal for drummers and percussionists to easily add it to their set-up via a standard 3/8” rod; and it comes complete with its very own protective moulded gig case.“The PRO tambourine allowed us to reinterpret the classic Rhythm Tech shape using state of the art design and manufacturing techniques,” explained Rhythm Tech president Richard Taninbaum. “We put a lot of thought and design into the new handle, studying the motions involved with playing and how they effect control.
