Realtime Despatch Software Blog Realtime Despatch supports local festival

We're happy to announce that Realtime Despatch is sponsoring the Kington Langley Scarecrow Festival, a popular Wiltshire event that supports the local community. The annual event, which takes place this coming weekend (5 - 16 June), has now been running for 19 years, raising money for local causes and charities. Along with raising thousands of pounds for charities including Thrombosis UK, the event has been able to offer funds to help restore the village school and church as well as give the village pond a new lease of life. Each year 25% of the funds raised go to a chosen charity. 2019's recipient is Doorway Wiltshire, a charity that offers homeless, vulnerable and marginalised individuals a safe environment and support. This year the festival includes a trail of 70 scarecrows created around the theme of brands, along with live music, refreshments, stalls and children's activities. "It's our pleasure to continue to support this local event," says Realtime Despatch MD Charlie Armor. "Those involved work hard to put on this annual festival which helps support all number of local community projects as well as raising funds for larger charities.
