Raptor Performance Shocks Blog New Product Release from Raptor Shocks... Introducing the X2!

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:RAPTOR PERFORMANCE SHOCKS INTRODUCES INNOVATIVE DUAL SKI FRONT END SUSPENSION SYSTEM FOR SNOW BIKE CONVERSION KITSDual ski snow bike front suspension geometry, designed to replace the single ski suspension technology currently available. Warroad, MN - June 16th, 2015 - Raptor Performance Shocks (RaptorShocks.com), a leading Minnesota-based supplier of performance suspension products for such noted snow sled brands as Arctic Cat, Polaris, Ski-Doo and Yamaha, announced the introduction of the X2 Dual Ski Snow Bike Front Suspension. The new X2 kit is being readied for shipment to Raptor dealers and the public."When I started at Polaris Industries in 1997 one of the first projects that I ever worked on was a snow bike," says Jake Anderson, owner of Raptor Performance Shocks. "At that time, we used one wide ski and several different configurations. None of which really met expectations"The patent pending X2 Dual Ski Suspension System features billet aluminum spindle components for strength and durability. The independent suspension was designed to eliminate roll stiffness which creates better maneuverability when transitioning from side to side. The custom designed ski technology enhances the confidence inspiring performance characteristics of the system both on and off trail."We met Jake Anderson, owner of Raptor Performance in 2010 when he delivered our first set of Raptor Shocks for our new CMX-X sleds," said Mark Hoffman, owner of Crazy Mountain Motorsports. "I learned the first day that Raptor Shocks were the best I had ever ridden, and I have rode them all. When Jake showed me the X2 last season...I was blown away just looking at it. I had ridden the single ski and put up with the ill handling characteristics on the trail because I knew it would be better when I got to the back country powder. When I rode the X2 I went from 2nd 3rd gear trail speeds to top gear and clicking the shifter looking for more. The backcountry powder riding is also greatly improved over the single ski. There is way less drag in all conditions, so it not only makes the handling way better it also increases performance."Raptor Performance's X2 Suspension Kits will be available for a wide variety of dirt bike models including KTM, Yamaha, Honda and Kawasaki bikes. The company plans to expand available fitment kits for other popular bikes at a rapid pace."I am involved in every aspect of this company, and I am proud to say our biggest asset is our profound understanding of vehicle dynamics, along with exceptional design and engineering capabilities," concludes Anderson. "The announcement of our X2 suspension system for the growing snow bike industry continues our tradition of providing premium products to enhance vehicle performance in addition to cementing our dedication to customers' experience."Raptor Performance Shocks' U.S. headquarters is located at 36778 County Road 13 in Warroad, MN and can be reached by calling (218) 242-0614.
