inRiver has officially released version 6.3, the latest version of their excellent PIM software (though they actually refer to it as PXM - Product Experience Management). The web interface has been spruced up with a cleaner look and there are some new features to improve user productivity. After much waiting, there is now the ability to "bulk" edit fields across multiple entities. And a great new feature is the ability to Preview an entity which generates a web page from the entity data using a user-defined HTML template (there is also an option to generate a PDF file). They have made significant updates to the Content Store and Supplier Onboarding apps. Content Store now provides users more detail about shown entities (now including specification data) and introduces a new personalized publications feature. Selected content can be used to generate PDF product catalogs, look books, sales sheets, etc. using user defined templates. Supplier Onboarding has been enhanced to improve the experience of importing data from external suppliers.A new feature is the Office 365 integration. You can now import and update inRiver data directly from within Excel. There are also changes under the covers to improve the stability and scalability of the server, including making it stateless (which will allow multiple servers to access a single database). And, of course, there were a number of bug fixes as well. For more information, go to https://www.inriver.com/en-US/product/inriver-6/.Rapid Soft is proud to be an inRiver Solution Partner since 2014.Blog Category: Product Information ManagementAddThis: Image: Sub Title: Bulk Edits, Content Previews, Stateless Server and more
