Qbit Technologies Blog Mattia Crespi's speech for Snam

The future of technology for the italian national GAS network company   On 13th October 2016, Mattia Crespi, CEO of Qbit Technologies, held a speech on the future of technology at the Italian National gas network company: SNAM. The speech was held within an internal corporate innovation program, fostered by Ars et Inventio, an innovation consulting firm, part of BIP Group, based in Milan, Italy. Within this program A&I has designed several informal innovation immersion days, held at SNAM offices, where their ICT personnel can interact with innovators and ideas on the future of technology and the global ecosystem. Mattia has contributed to this series of events, with a speech on the evolution of technology and the Internet, explaining how we are transitioning from centralized media to the future of ambient communication, where the distributed systems architecture is behind our everyday experiences. This shift has been highlighted for the first time in 1962 at the Institute For The Future, where Paul Baran and a number of other inspired engineers have defined how we would migrate from centralized to distributed systems, passing by decentralized architectures.
