Dear Friends, I have seen many things written regarding the concerns and information being shared about Emulsifying Wax or Ewax as we formulators like to call it. Let me begin by saying that they're not derived and processed all the same. As a company based on good will with it's customers and innovative by necessity, Progress In Health, Inc. only uses Vegetable Emulsifying wax derived from plant leaves and shrubs (organic when possible) and minimally processed with Cetearyl alcohol, a blend of fatty acids made from vegetable sources as well, like palm and coconut oils . Not to be confused with it's synthetic counterpart. There are several cheaper versions that are available, and although they rank low to medium on the toxicity list, we have opted to use the most natural one available as of date.
