Procacci Brothers: Procacci Holdings donates to high school scholarship

Procacci Holdings has donated $18,600 for a scholarship program at Camden Catholic High School.Company CEO J.M. Procacci, a graduate of the school, presented the funds for the Estrella Naciente Scholarship Program at the Cherry Hill, N.J., school recently. The scholarship program is a partnership between Procacci Bros. Sales Corp., Santa Sweets Inc., and the Spanish Sports Network, providing tuition assistance to Hispanic students at Camden Catholic High School, according to a news release.The company donates $100 for every home run from Major League Baseball's Philadelphia Phillies. In 2018, the ball team hit 186 home runs, according to the release.Camden Catholic High School president Mary Whipkey said the scholarship is a "wonderful" opportunity for students."We are grateful to have the Procacci family as an integral part of the Camden Catholic community and we look forward to witnessing the dedication, motivation and success of these promising students," Whipkey said in the release. Students Kayla Williams and Sabrina Radix are the 2019 recipients of the scholarship.
