Printrbot Inc., the 3D printer company that launched with an overwhelmingly successful Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign in 2011, has filed for bankruptcy. The Chapter 7 bankruptcy, indicating that Printrbot will liquidate its assets, was filed last Friday in federal court in Sacramento. It lists liabilities of $856,909 and assets of $101,698.
