Please don't text or play with your phone when you are driving! I have been gone for quite a while because an idiot did just that and took me out. I was in an accident and had to have reconstructive surgeries because I was hit by someone who said he "only looked down for a second". A second is all it takes! I am a single mother and have been working 2 and 3 jobs for the last 10 plus years to make ends meet and pay the bills to take care of my babies. In a second, this man managed to completely undo everything that I have worked for the last several years of my life! I had to sell my house, move into an apartment, sell much of my furniture and on many days, go hungry. All because someone decided it was so important to 'play with' his freaking phone while he was driving! If it sounds like I am angry, it's because I am!I see it all day! Even just driving to the grocery store, people playing with their phones, slowing and endangering traffic , causing accidents, and hurting other people because they are not capable of making one very important life decision. When you get behind the wheel of an automobile it is time for you to pay attention to where you are going and the traffic around you. It is NOT time to play with your phone! My life will never be the same. He took so much from me. My health, after major surgery has left me so much more frail than I was before. I had to quit my job and am not certain that I will ever be able to return to the job I got my medical degree for. My children have been affected. I was paying for my daughter's college. I haven't worked in almost a year! She had to drop out of college. We are just now trying to get her going again. My youngest who has lived with me since she was born, had to move in with her father because I couldn't walk, let alone drive her to school or take care of her for several months.IT IS JUST NOT ABOUT YOU PEOPLE! Our world has changed so much! People walk around all day without any thought for other people. Life should be about so much more! We should have a law that people go on black list and can no longer have phones if caught playing with their phone while they r driving; or perhaps lose their license. I just heard of software that turns your phone off while u r moving, because people are too self-absorbed to make the right decision all by themselves.
