This isn't your Grandpa's Jitterbug. Although in many ways, it is!Maybe we should explain.Following the huge splash made by last year's introduction of the Hula Popper 2.0, Arbogast has introduced the Jointed Jitterbug 2.0, which uses the iconic design of an Arbogast Jointed Jitterbug, but implements modern upgrades, including ultra-sharp black nickel hooks, a tantalizing multi-feather tail, a black anodized aluminum headplate, new hook hangers and special "crackle" colors.Arbogast Jitterbugs have been calling bass, pike and other gamefish to the surface since this lure's introduction in 1937, and its virtues have been passed down from generation to generation. A unique, double-cupped lip creates a gurgle and surface-churning wobble that's unlike the sound and action of any other topwater lure.Jointed Jitterbugs offer the classic Jitterbug wobble and sound but move with an added sway that suggests an injured baitfish or some sort critter slithering across the surface.Arbogast engineers fit the Jointed Jitterbug 2.0 with a new pull point design to maximize the classic sound and action that made its predecessors famous. Another new feature is an enhanced joint design, which will create an even freer tail swing. Matching the popular G620 model of Jointed Jitterbug, the Jointed Jitterbug 2.0 is 2 ½ inches long, weighs 3/8 ounce and comes with No. 6 treble hooks. The Jointed Jitterbug 2.0 comes in the same four colors as the Hula Popper 2.0: Coach Hog, Black Death, Blue Kill and White Zombie. Each pattern utilizes a unique "crackle" look created in the paint-drying process.
