PJCS: Opening date set for academic center at Papa John's Cardinal Stadium

The new Thorntons Academic Center of Excellence is set to make its debut at the University of Louisville next week, just in time for the new school year. The U of L Athletics Department said Tuesday that a grand opening ceremony for the new academic facility will be held at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 17.
