The first stretch of a new East Valley highway near Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport is slated to open next month. The Gateway Freeway, or Arizona 24, will connect to the Loop 202. The airport area is growing along with Arizona State University’s Polytechnic campus and DMB Associates’ Eastmark development. That is where Apple’s new manufacturing plant is located.
