PHDA: PHDA launches grant program for first-time home buyers

The Pittsburgh Housing Development Association Inc. said Thursday it is offering a grant for first-time home buyers for assistance towards down payment and closing fees. The opportunity is being funded by the Wells Fargo Housing Foundation. Eligible awardees must fill out an application, be a first-time home buyer, complete an approved Housing Counseling Program, and provide income verification.
